The Xerox® Workplace mobile app offers a convenient solution for local printing and scanning with your Xerox MFP. Designed to be used in conjunction with Xerox® Workplace Cloud/Suite, this app enables users to securely connect to any device over any network without requiring a direct printer connection.
Key standard features of the Xerox® Workplace mobile app include:
- Easy printer setup using QR Code scanning or NFC technology
- Direct document opening for quick print and preview
- Camera function for capturing and printing images
- Flexible print options such as 1-Sided/2-Sided printing, color/black-white, stapling, paper size, page range, and Secure Print pin
- Printing directly from popular applications like Dropbox and Google Drive
- Wireless scanning from your MFP within the app
When combined with Xerox Workplace Suite or Cloud, the app offers additional features:
- Controlled and secure user permissions through mobile app user account login
- Mobile app unlocking of supported Xerox Printers instead of using a card or NFC
- The ability to print to various network print devices, including those from Xerox, Fuji Xerox, HP, Ricoh, Epson, Canon, and more
- Compatibility with popular file formats like MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, email, text, Open Office, and various image formats
- GPS integration to find locations and available printers
- The ability to securely upload documents for later release at any licensed printer (pull print)
- Job accounting support for tracking printing costs
- Integration with a single release queue for jobs sent from desktop PC, MAC, and Chrome book
- Convenient access to all waiting pull print jobs from your mobile device

To get started with Xerox® Workplace, follow these steps:
- Obtain your Company Code information for your Xerox® Workplace Solution from your administrator
- Download and install the Xerox® Workplace App
- Register and login to Xerox® Workplace using your Company Code and Credentials
- Browse your mobile device and open a document to print
- Select "Open In..." using Workplace to Upload, Preview & Print your Documents*
- Select an available printer, printer options, and release your document
